ADELAIDE ZOMBIE WALK - FOODBANK SA
The Adelaide Zombie Walk has had the privelege of being associated with FOODBANK SA for the past 2 years, with the 2011 event raising over $3500 and a large volume of food products (see image below).
Foodbank is a non-denominational, charitable organisation which sources donated and surplus food from the food and grocery industry to distribute to welfare and community agencies that provide food assistance to people in need.
FOODBANK is the backbone of over 500 charities, organisations, schools and community centres within South Australia, in terms of supplying nutritional food items to those in need.
Adelaide Zombie walk is proud to be raising money, goods and awareness for FOODBANK SA. They are a fantastic local organisation that does so much work for those in need, but are often not recognised as they work behind the scenes, supplying food to the charities that everyone recognises so easily.
Join with us in showing your support for FOODBANK SA and their 'End Hunger' Campaign, and united we can feed all those in need, we can strive to end hunger in South Australia and help promote healthy nutrition through school programs and education.
